Seeking a timely diagnostic approach to lymphomas and, in general, to oncology, and doing so in the most complete way possible has its challenges and requires a joint effort between clinical and pathology laboratories, with their different studies.
Germán Campuzano, Catalina Franco, Vanessa Santiago and Lina Gaviria, hematopathologists, have seen from their work the importance of providing the treating physician with diagnostic information and its interpretation in an integrated, clear and actionable way in a single report, so that he can focus on the management and treatment of the patient. In this conversation they invite us to work in this direction and tell us how technical and scientific advances have allowed this to become a reality in Colombia.
